Woman in red clothes, seeming entering the town with you:

'This is Frenor. The Princess of Santeem is here. I'll go see her.'

Old Man, in his place on the right side of town:

	'The innkeeper entertained the Princess' Party lavishly.'
	'I might offer her my small savings too.'

Wait a minute, isn't Alena the Princess of Santeem? What is going on?

Woman in red clothes, now at the inn:

'I wonder why the Princess is here.'

Man in blue clothes, at the inn:

'You came to see the Princess? She's upstairs in the inn.'

Excuse me?

Fat Man in green clothes, at the inn:

'I wish to get acquainted with the Princess.'

Innkeeper, at his humble inn:

	'Welcome to our inn...'
	'however, a princess is staying here, so I can't really welcome you....'

Child, running about:

'Do you know where my dog is?'

Alena, curious as to what's going on, goes upstairs into the inn.

Inn -- Second Floor

Kidnappers!

Woman in white clothes:

'No! Let me go! Help! Someone!'

Old Man:

'Oh, no! Princess!'

Thug:

'Stop! Or the Princess will be harmed!'

Man in blue clothes:

'Gasp! I'm hurt.'

Alena and her companions rush outside after the kidnappers, but they were just too fast. Disappointed, they head back inside.

Inn -- Second Floor

Let the truth be exposed

Old Man, nursing the man in the blue clothes in the lower right room:

'I can't believe it! May...I mean the Princess was kidnapped.'

AHA! Alena knew that the Princess was a fake! This was just a hoax party!

Man in blue clothes, in the lower right room:

'Would you rescue the Princess? If you succeed, you will be handsomely rewarded.'

Frenor

Innkeeper, at his humble inn:

'Weep...'

Fat Man in green clothes, at the inn:

'I hope she's alright.'

Woman in purple clothes, at the inn:

'Any princess would be an attractive target for the wicked.'

Woman in red clothes, at the inn:

'My goodness! The Princess was kidnapped!'

Man in blue clothes, at the inn:

'Why was she kidnapped?'

Dog, running about:

'Bow, Wow!'

Child, running about:

	'My dog, Kit, brought this letter. I'll read it.'
	'To get the Princess back unharmed, bring the village treasure, the Golden Bracelet, to the graveyard tomorrow night.'
	'What's this?'

Not knowing what the Golden Bracelet is, Alena looks for someone who does.

Man in purple clothes, in his secluded home on the other side of the inn:

	'The Golden Bracelet was our treasure.'
	'It caused too much conflict among us and was finally hidden away in the southern cave.'

Determined to save the fake Princess, Alena searches the cave to find the Golden Bracelet, and find it she does. She returns to Frenor to donate the ransom to the thugs.

Night
Ransom demands

Thug:

'I see you've brought what we want. Give it to me now!'

If yes:

'I got it! Here's the Princess. Bye!'

May:

	'Thanks for rescuing me. I've learned a lesson.'
	'I'm not really a princess. My name is May. I'm just an actress.'
	'I got carried away because people treated me nicely when I pretended to be a princess....'
	'I'll join my companions now.'
	'It's not much, but I'll give you this Thief's Key.'
	'Bye...real Princess....'

Video Game:

	'Thereafter, the fake princess, May, and her companions disappeared.'
	'And a new day began....'

If no:

'Don't you want the Princess back alive! Give it to me!'

Frenor

Woman in red clothes, at entrance to town:

'This is the town of Frenor.'

Old Man, in his place on right side of town:

	'I offered my savings to the Princess...'
	'but she refused. They say she was a fake, but she wasn't a crook.'

Woman in purple clothes, in her place on left side of town:

'The Princess was a fake. I knew a real princess wouldn't come to a town like this.'

Shows what you think, lady.

Man in blue clothes, in woman in purple clothes' place:

	'By the way, a bazaar is held at an oasis in the southern desert.'
	'If you're heading south, you should visit it.'

Man in purple clothes, in his isolated place on the other side of the inn:

	'You gave the Golden Bracelet to the kidnappers. Hmm....'
	'I hope nothing bad will happen.'

Child, running about:

'A bazaar is held in the southern desert, right?'

Night

ZZZ....tournament...ZZZ

Old Man, in his place on the right side of town:

	'I can't sleep. On nights like this, I remeber the old days.'
	'I used to live in the eastern town of Endor. I often went to the tournament.'

Tournament? Just the thing Alena wants to prove her strength!

Man in blue clothes, in his place on the left side of town:

'Zzz...Zzz...'

Child, in man in blue's place:

'Sss...Sss...'

Alena, now knowing of the tournament, heads for Endor.
