	'This is the Village of Kievs.'
	'You must be Edgar's daughters! You're back!'

Horse, behind the man in red clothes:

'Brrr!'

Woman in purple clothes, in her residence just to the north of the inn:

	'It's a shame a man like Edgar was betrayed by his pupil.'
	'Say, didn't Edgar have another pupil? Orin...that's his name, I think.'
	'He was terribly injured too. Where is he now?'

Man in red clothes, in his field to the right of the inn:

	'How long has it been since Edgar died?'
	'The stray puppy Nara took in back then has grown up.'

Woman in purple clothes, standing by the south side of the lake:

'Hey, it's you Nara! Isn't it nice to be back in your hometown?'

Horse, the one on the top in its stable in the lower right corner of town:

'Neigh!'

Horse, the one on the bottom in its stable in the lower right corner of town:

'Neigh!'

Dog, running about the east side of the lake:

'Bow, Wow, Wow!'

Old Man, in his field in the top right corner of town:

	'I despise Balzack! He became Edgar's pupil to steal his invention.'
	'By the way, this is a secret....'
	'Orin, Edgar's other pupil, is hiding in the cave west of this village.'
	'Orin may know Balzack's whereabouts....'

Signpost, outside an empty house in the top right corner of town:

'The House of Edgar, Alchemist'

Innkeeper, at the inn:

'You're Edgar's daughters!'

'I can't accept money from you. You're from this village.'

'There's no charge. Would you like to stay?'

If yes:

	'Rest well.'
	'Good morning. Have a safe journey.'

If no:

'I see. Be careful on your journey.'

Night

Rumor mill going strong

Soldier, at the inn:

	'I heard an awful rumor on my way here.'
	'The new King of Keeleon has allied himself with the evil ones.'

Man in red clothes, in his residence just to the north of the inn:

'Zzz...Zzz...'

Old Man, in his residence just south of the lake:

	'Rumor is Edgar failed to make gold.'
	'But he made an extraordinary discovery. Ah...the Secret of Evolution...that's it.'

Man in red clothes, in the stable in the lower right corner of town:

	'The new King of Keelon's taxation is severe.'
	'I have to work late every day. Grumble...Grumble...'

Dog, in front of the gravesite of Edgar:

'Uuur...Uuur...'

Slime Monster, in Edgar's residence:

	'Don't hurt me! I'm not a bad Slime!'
	'Do you know? Orin used to break open locked doors.'

Nara and Mara head west, in search for this Orin.
